TRAVEL MEDICINE · POZNAŃ, JEŻYCE

Different vaccines
for Bali,
different ones for Kenya.

We match the vaccinations to your route, your dates and the way you travel. A hotel on the coast is not the same as a backpack and a night in a village. The medical assessment and the vaccination happen in one visit, and if you are flying soon, we will work out what still has time to take effect.

Family visit: one adult pays for the consultation (PLN 250) and each additional patient pays for the assessment by age: PLN 100 for an adult, PLN 150 for a child aged 2 to 9, PLN 250 for a child under 2. The yellow card is included in the consultation.

WHY US

Three things you will not find everywhere.

A centre certified by PTMMTiP The Polish Society of Maritime, Tropical and Travel Medicine. Our recommendations follow WHO and the CDC Yellow Book.
Vaccination the same day Assessment and vaccination in a single visit. Over 20 vaccines kept in stock.
A doctor always does the assessment The doctor weighs the indications and rules out contraindications, because that is what makes a vaccination safe. We book the whole family into one slot.

YOUR DESTINATION

Where are you travelling?

Choose a country and we will show the recommended vaccinations, the malaria situation, what to pack in your first-aid kit and what to watch out for when travelling with a child.

HOW THE CONSULTATION WORKS

A consultation tailored to your trip.

Preparing for the tropics is one thing; an active trip with children is another. We go through the destination, the nature of the trip and your health, and then set a plan for you and the whole family.

Book a consultation
  1. Medical history destination and type of trip, health risk assessment
  2. Vaccinations and prophylaxis a personal vaccination programme, protection against tropical diseases
  3. Recommendations malaria, travellers’ diarrhoea, a first-aid kit for the road
  4. The yellow card assessment and vaccination, international certificate

TIMING AND DOCUMENTS

When to prepare and what to bring.

The more we know about your route, the better the advice. Start by booking a slot and bring the rest to the visit.

How long until you leave?

More than 6 weeks Book now, while there is time for everything This is the best moment. There is time for full vaccination courses, including those needing two or three doses.
2 to 6 weeks Still worth coming. We will set the order Most vaccines will have time to work. We start with the ones that matter most for your destination and complete the rest later.
Less than 2 weeks Call us and we will find a slot We can still help: some vaccines work quickly, and malaria prophylaxis and travel advice need no lead time at all.

Leaving tomorrow or the day after? Call anyway. We will go through what to watch out for there and what to pack.

WHY VACCINATE

Why get vaccinated before you travel?

Well-chosen vaccinations let you prepare safely and calmly, whatever your destination.

Rice terraces and coconut palms in Bali
01 Protecting your health Many tropical diseases can be effectively prevented by vaccination.
02 A trip without trouble Some countries require a vaccination on entry, for example against yellow fever.
03 Saving money No time or money lost on treatment abroad.
04 Long-lasting protection Some vaccines protect for many years, and a few, such as yellow fever, for life.
05 No cure available For some tropical diseases there is no cure, but a vaccine can prevent them.

We check the recommendations on the day of your visit, because outbreaks move faster than guidebooks.

WHICH VISIT TO CHOOSE

Two routes. Choose yours.

They differ in how much we work out during the visit. If you know what you came for, the assessment is enough. If you are still planning the route, you need the consultation.

I KNOW WHAT I NEED

Medical assessment for vaccination

from PLN 100 · one visit

You have a specific vaccine on your list: from work, from a tour operator or from an earlier visit.

  • Health assessment
  • Indications and contraindications
  • The vaccination schedule
  • A run-through of possible side effects

  • A vaccination certificate

  • A personal vaccination programme
  • Malaria and travellers’ diarrhoea prophylaxis
  • First-aid kit and advice for the road
  • Vaccination the same day
  • The certificate is included in the consultation

Take the questionnaire

The whole family in one slot Adults and children in a single visit, with a doctor always doing the assessment. For multi-dose courses we plan the calendar to keep the number of trips down.

Advice for your trip

Do you know which vaccinations and which prophylaxis are recommended for your trip?

Source of the advice

Where does this advice come from?

Scope of the visit

Should the doctor check this advice, or is an assessment for the vaccines on your list enough?

Scope of the visit

Do you want to learn about the health risks of the trip, or do you only want the vaccination?

Special situations

Does any of these apply to you: pregnancy, a chronic illness, medicines that lower immunity, or travelling with a small child?

Something to discuss

Is there anything you want to discuss with the doctor? A change in your health or medicines, a new route, malaria prophylaxis, tropical diseases.

Our suggestion

We suggest a full travel medicine consultation.

Your answers suggest the trip is worth discussing with a doctor: we will choose the vaccination programme, malaria and tropical disease prophylaxis, and prepare a first-aid kit and advice for the road. Vaccinations are given during the same visit.

Our suggestion

Please book a consultation, and call us before the visit.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, a chronic illness, treatment that lowers immunity or travel with a small child all need an individual assessment. Some live vaccines are contraindicated in these situations, and others have to be given earlier than usual, so we build the programme separately for each of them.

Call if your trip is less than 4 weeks away, because then the order of vaccinations matters.

Our suggestion

A medical assessment for vaccination is enough.

Your vaccination programme is settled and you do not need further advice on prophylaxis. In one visit the doctor will assess your health, clear you for the vaccination, give it and issue a certificate. The assessment does not include a discussion of health risks or tropical diseases. If questions come up during the visit that go beyond the vaccination schedule itself, we will offer to extend it into a consultation.

One note about your list. Advice from a travel agency or your own research is not medical advice and can be incomplete or out of date. During the assessment the doctor will check whether you can receive the chosen vaccines, but will not judge whether the list is complete for your route. If you would rather it were checked, choose the consultation. You can also decide that on the day.
